ART WORKSHOPS

- These focused lessons (one or two days, weekends) will be offered through our website or facebook page.

- The focus of these courses will change with each course. You can vote on which focus you would like to see next through facebook. Please contact us through our email or facebook to send us your suggestions!

- The lessons will take place in our studio or outside in plein-air.

To participate in the one-time art course, follow these steps:

1) Fill out the application form - HERE

2) Wait for an email approval.

3) Once your application is approved, you can send the payment via bank transfer. We also accept the payment  in cash before the beginning of the art course. If you pay in cash, an invoice will be sent to your email afterward.

4) Details will be included in a following email, including information on which tools and media you will need to bring for the workshop, the timeframe of the course and the location. 

Under-aged participants of the workshop will need an additional form FOUND HERE to be filled out and signed by their parent or legal representative (filled example here). We will need to receive the completed form before the workshop begins.

REGULAR ART COURSES

The first lesson is free. Each session is two hours.

- These weekly courses are situated primarily in our studio.

- New courses are dependent on the capacity. Do not hesitate to sign up even for those which are already full - we will open a new course! You may be the last one who is missing to fill our new course.

Preparation for art school 

• Drawing with different media, including pencil, chalk, and pastel
• Master sketching, still life and figure drawing
• Assistance in selection of artwork for portfolios and art exams 
  
• Models for figure drawing provided
  

Stylization

• Traditional or digital, experimentation with other media

• This course focuses on creating stylized drawings and developing your own art style

• Studies in different art styles, learning from various established studios and artists

Ilustration

• This course focuses on storytelling and the importance of storytelling elements such as depiction of emotions and use of atmosphere.
• Study of light and composition, and the importance of references and master studies
• Option to draw traditionally and digitally, experimenting with other media

Character design

• Designing and drawing characters for comics, video games, shows, or your own stories
• Process of character development, both visual and story-wise
• Balance between practical, visually pleasing and effective character
• Balance between practical, visually pleasing and memorable design
• Differences between stereotypes, styles of stories, and drawing style (e.g., anime, western movies, superheroes or comic villains)
